Smithys can repair many brands of speakers with speaker and diaphram replacements and repairs to internal crossovers. We also service guitars and basses with setups, re-strings, re-wiring, replacement pickups and machine heads. For all other repairs and servicing of musical, recording or public address equipment we will direct you to the most appropriate repairer from the list below. Test and Tag. Smithys has certification to allow us to perform electrical safety tests to your equipment and to tag it with an appropriate official safety notice. This service costs $15 inc GST per item. If you have many items for tagging we will offer this service at a lower rate. Please be aware that we can not test the effectiveness of RCD (residual current detector) devices or equipment fitted with RCD's.

Warranty. A 90day parts and labour warranty applies to all repairs carried out by Smithys.
