Sell an item to Smithys outright. Smithys will pay you by chq on the day you sell to us. We generally offer about half of the highest price we estimate your goods will sell for excluding GST. This means for example, if we estimate the best price we could get for the item is $1,000, excluding GST, we will offer you about $500. Thus, if the item eventually only sells for $550 then Smithys does not loose money on the deal. If your goods are particularly desirable then we may offer more than half, conversely, we may offer less.
